Sentencings

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for the week of June 17, 2013:

Gregory A. Jones – 13-CR-0001 – Breaking and Entering (F5) –Found guilty by Judge Weist.  Sentenced to 2 years Community Control, pay restitution as determined by Probation, complete SRCCC.
 

Alex M. Lepley – 12-CR-0157 – Grand Theft When the Property is a Firearm or Dangerous Ordance  (F3) –Found guilty by Judge Spitler.  Sentenced to 12 months incarceration – sentence con-current with 12-CR-0338.
