A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 8/23/2021 to 8/30/2021:

 

8/25/2021 – Kimberly Fairchild, 33-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000597

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1) and 3 additional counts. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Residential Drug/Alcohol Treatment at Beacon House; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group; Participate in Day Reporting Program.

 

8/25/2021 – Kimberly Fairchild, 33-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000165

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Residential Drug/Alcohol Treatment at Beacon House; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group; Participate in Day Reporting Program.

 

8/25/2021 – Kimberly Fairchild, 33-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000199

Convicted of Receiving Stolen Property, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.51(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Pay Restitution: $150.00.; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Complete Residential Drug/Alcohol Treatment at Beacon House; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group; Participate in Day Reporting Program.

 

8/25/2021 – Anthony Michael Durrell, 48-year-old male from BRUNSWICK – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000339

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 3 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years, a fine of $375.00 and a driver’s license suspension for 1 year. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 40 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

 

8/25/2021 – James E. Smith, 62-year-old male from RITTMAN – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000180

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.
