Week of 2/7/22 Felony Criminal Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 2/7/2022 to 2/14/2022:

 

2/8/2022 – James Robert Barnhouse, 40-year-old male from MIDVALE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000170

Convicted of Vandalism, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.05(B)(1)(a). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 90 days. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Restitution: $1511.29.

 

2/9/2022 – David Stroud, 40-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000354

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

 

2/9/2022 – David Stroud, 40-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000493

Convicted of Possession of Drugs, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.
