Week of 2/14/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 2/14/2022 to 2/21/2022:

 

2/16/2022 – James Unangst, 34-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000013

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year, 6 months. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

 

2/16/2022 – Dustin Jonele Hartsoe, 38-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000554

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. The judge ordered: Screen for SRCCC at discretion of PO Maintain a PCP, notify of any changes Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 40 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Obtain GED or High School Diploma; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group;

Participate in Day Reporting Program.

 

2/16/2022 – Dustin Jonele Hartsoe, 39-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000411

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. 2/16/2022 – Jeremiah Claude Dixon, 39-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000292

Convicted of Receiving Stolen Property, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.51(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $100.00.

 

2/16/2022 – Frank Goch, 47-year-old male from MARSHALLVILLE – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000342

Convicted of Receiving Stolen Property, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.51(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.
