Week of 2/28/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 2/28/2022 to 3/7/2022:

 

3/1/2022 – Conner Adams, 18-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000457

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $250.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

3/2/2022 – D’Aaron Ziimyr Niiaryee Rogers, 18-year-old male from AKRON – Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000490

Convicted of Possession of Heroin, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

 

3/2/2022 – Trisha Lynne Harmon, 39-year-old female from LOUISVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000095

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of (with 1 year suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain GED or High School Diploma; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

 

3/2/2022 – Christopher Allen Schmucker, 18-year-old male from FREDERICKSBURG – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000121

Convicted of Trespass in a Habitation, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(B). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 5 years. The judge ordered: Complete conditions of probation out of Holmes County. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by

Probation Department.

 

3/2/2022 – Lawrence Woodhull, 42-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000126

Convicted of Trespass in a Habitation, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(B) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 1 year, 3 months and Post Release Control in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

 

3/2/2022 – Lawrence Woodhull, 42-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000395

Convicted of Trespass in a Habitation, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(B). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 1 year, 3 months.

 

3/2/2022 – Lauren Alice Grizzel, 31-year-old female from RITTMAN – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000081

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.
