Week of 2/28/22 Misdemeanor Convictions:

The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 2/28/2022 to 3/7/2022:

 

2/28/2022 – Myles A. Tuttle, 42-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000470

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 25 days and a fine of $250.00.

 

2/28/2022 – Verdell Bullard, 39-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001434

Convicted of Criminal Mischief, M3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.07(A)(1)(a). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $350.00 and a professional license suspension for 1 year. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Alcohol-related prohibitions: Do not use, consume, or possess any alcohol or drugs; Counseling: Anger management.

 

3/1/2022 – Nathaniel Kristchen Gray, 19-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000920

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, MM, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $125.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

3/1/2022 – Nathaniel Gray, 19-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001164

Convicted of Falsification, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.13(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 15 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $350.00.

 

3/1/2022 – Codey Durham, 32-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000359

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 170 days and a fine of $500.00.

 

3/1/2022 – Tristan Short, 22-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001132

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 10 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug /Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

 

3/1/2022 – Tristan Short, 22-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001104

Convicted of Domestic Violence, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 60 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $500.00. 3/2/2022 – Melisa Taylor, 44 year old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001418

Convicted of Unauthorized Use of Property, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.04(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and a fine of $150.00. 3/3/2022 – Tiarra Brooks, 19-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000594

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 80 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $250.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

 

3/4/2022 – John Lee Miller, 40-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000895

Convicted of Criminal Damaging or Endangering, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.06(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $200.00. The judge ordered: Defendant is required to submit 3 employment applications per week until he is employed Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Counseling: anger management.
