Week of 3/7/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.
Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 3/7/2022 to 3/14/2022:

3/7/2022 – Jordan Michael Jarvis, 31 year old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000538
Convicted of Having Weapons While Under Disability, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.13(A)(3) and one additional
count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 3 years.

3/7/2022 – Jordan Jarvis, 31 year old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000540
Convicted of Possession of Heroin, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a
term of incarceration of 6 months.

3/7/2022 – Jordan Jarvis, 31 year old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000248
Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge
Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

3/7/2022 – Jordan Michael Jarvis, 31 year old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000089
Convicted of Vandalism, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.05(B)(2). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of
incarceration of 6 months. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Restitution: $2,887.00.

3/7/2022 – Jordan Jarvis, 31 year old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000301
Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count.
Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

3/7/2022 – Jordan M. Jarvis, 31 year old male from Orrville – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000263
Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional
count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

3/8/2022 – Brian Keith Pettis, 29 year old male from MASSILLON – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000279
Convicted of Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.331(B)
and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 60 days (with 120 days suspended),
Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years, a fine of $525.00 and a driver’s license suspension for 7 years. Additionally
the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow
Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health
Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Electronic Home Monitoring: 120 days.

3/8/2022 – Eden Elizabeth Haven, 27 year old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000214
Convicted of Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by
Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were
imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation
Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by
Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Program at Community

Convicted of Illegal Conveyance of Drugs of Abuse onto Grounds of a Specified Governmental Facility, F3, in violation of Ohio
Revised Code 2921.36(A)(2) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the
amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All
Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing;
Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive

Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court
Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform
Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation

Convicted of Having Weapons While Under Disability, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.13(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge
Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $500.00. The judge ordered: Time suspended on condition of no new charges for period of one year.
Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Forfeiture of firearm.

3/9/2022 – Jeffery Tyler Hines, 30 year old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000546
Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced
by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were
imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service:
60 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial Group; Participate in Day
Reporting Program.

3/9/2022 – Jesse L. Smith, 41 year old male from Wooster – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000349
Convicted of Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.331(B)
and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 180 days, Community Control sanctions
in the amount of 3 years and a driver’s license suspension for 3 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court
Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform

Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.
