A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 12/5/2022 to 12/12/2022:

12/6/2022 – Jason Dillon, 31-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000572

Convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2907.05(A)(4). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 4 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 5 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

12/6/2022 – Jason Lee Dillon, 25-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000571

Convicted of Rape, F1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2907.02(A)(2) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 19 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 10 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Sex Offender Registration: Tier III; PRC Notification Given.
