The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 2/27/2023 to 3/6/2023:

 

2/27/2023 – Anthony L. Hochstetler, 24-year-old male from FREDERICKSBURG – Case No. 2020 CR-B 001188

Convicted of Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.12(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $250.00.

 

2/27/2023 – Jason Kerns, 46-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001510

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 90 days and a fine of $250.00.

 

2/27/2023 – Jason Kerns, 46-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000162

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(B)(2). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 30 days and a fine of $150.00.

 

2/27/2023 – Zane Vierheller, 27-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001750

Convicted of Criminal Mischief, M3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.07(A)(1)(a). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $200.00. 2/27/2023 – Renee Kemper, 58-year-old female from ASHLAND – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001730

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $300.00. 2/27/2023 – Autumn Snider, 26-year-old female from Burbank – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001449

Convicted of Endangering Children, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.22(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year.

 

 

2/28/2023 – Hayley Stanley, 18-year-old female from WOOSTER Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

2/28/2023 – Richard Porter, 25-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2019 CR-B 000634

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $250.00.

 

2/28/2023 – Corey Ryan Schlegel, 38-year-old male from SHREVE – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001539
