The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 4/3/2023 to 4/10/2023:

4/3/2023 – Cody Huffman, 29-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000551 Convicted of Aggravated Menacing, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.21(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 150 days and a fine of $500.00.

4/3/2023 – Cody Huffman, 29-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001542 Convicted of Violating a Protection Order, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.27(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 150 days and a fine of $500.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

4/4/2023 – Michael Shane Leroy Eagle, 31-year-old male from SMITHVILLE – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000273 Convicted of Obstructing Official Business, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.31(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 6 months and a fine of $100.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer.

 4/4/2023 – Charles Wiggins, 25-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000377 Convicted of Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.14(C)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $100.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

 4/4/2023 – Kimberly Miller, 33-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000415 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(B)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

4/4/2023 – Adrian Steele, 33-year-old male from Orrville – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000422 Convicted of Obstructing Official Business, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.31(A) and 3 additional counts. Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $250.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer.

4/4/2023 – James David Kay, 33-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000383 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(B)(2). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $250.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 4/4/2023 – Talmadge Dammons, 28-year-old male from MAPLE HTS – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001118 Convicted of Criminal Damaging or Endangering, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.06(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $650.00.

4/5/2023 – Devon Potts, 34-year-old male from Creston – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000345 Convicted of Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.12(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 60 days and a fine of $200.00.

4/6/2023 – Gregory Wallace, 37-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001350 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(B)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 30 days.

4/6/2023 – John Green, 23-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001448 Convicted of Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.12(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year, 6 months and a fine of $250.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.
