Week of 4/3/23 Criminal Felony Convictions::

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 4/3/2023 to 4/10/2023:

4/5/2023 – Kawon R. Wright, 31-year-old male from Columbus – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000328 Convicted of Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, a Drug of Abuse or a Combination of Them – OVI, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 4511.19(A)(1)(i). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 120 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years, a fine of $1,350.00 and a driver’s license suspension for 5 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment.

4/5/2023 – Kenneth Robinson, 42-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000265 Convicted of Domestic Violence, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 90 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 5 years and a fine of $1,000.00.

4/6/2023 – Zachary Flack, 23-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000331 Convicted of Tampering with Evidence, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.12(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle.

4/6/2023 – Michael P. Lee, Jr., 41-year-old male from Slidell – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000108 Convicted of Improperly Handling Firearms In A Motor Vehicle, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.16(B). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a fine of $250.00.
