The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 4/24/2023 to 5/1/2023:

4/24/2023 – Richard Lee Hoxworth, 45-year-old male from MILLERSBURG – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000171 Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year, 6 months and a fine of $500.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 40 Hours; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment.

4/24/2023 – Melissa Conaway, 41-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001516 Convicted of Domestic Violence, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 30 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $350.00.

4/24/2023 – Matthew Dean Paxton, 40-year-old male from WEST SALEM – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000165 Convicted of Domestic Violence, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(C). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and a fine of $500.00.

4/24/2023 – Ian Michael Gaugler, 21-year-old male from AKRON – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001477 Convicted of Domestic Violence, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(C). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $200.00.

4/24/2023 – Mathew Sol Vaccaro, 34-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000087 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(4). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 6 months and a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment.

4/24/2023 – Jennifer Lendon, 33-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001249 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $13.00.

4/25/2023 – Lance Mann, 49-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001679 Convicted of Receiving Stolen Property, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.51(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 180 days.

4/25/2023 – Lance William Mann, 49-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000445 Convicted of Possession of Drugs, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 180 days.

4/25/2023 – Lindsey Joy Maibach, 24-year-old female from SHREVE – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000482 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, MM, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $50.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

4/25/2023 – Bryan Yoder, 31-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000280 Convicted of Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.14(C)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $150.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.
